Scott Decker

Scott Decker became Senior Vice President of Technology in July of 2021 and leads Nexstar Digital’s technology organization and is responsible for architecting and supporting the company’s high-growth digital products and platforms. Before Nexstar, he founded and later sold PublishThis, a groundbreaking platform helping companies generate and publish media for their brands.

Mr. Decker led content and engineering for Blue Nile, the web’s leading online jewelry eCommerce site, where he helped architect, design, and patent the company’s successful Diamond search. Prior to this, he was the Director of Advertising and Technology for Edmunds.com where he led development of the company’s syndication platform and advertising inventory software system that was later sold to Doubleclick.

Having started his career as a Research Scientist for the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory specializing in Bioinformatics and Large Information Display programs, Mr. Decker has developed multiple patents for the U.S. Department of Energy and brings over 20 years of experience leading media, e-commerce, and technology organizations to Nexstar Digital.
