KTLA to launch LA Unscripted, Fall 2020

Weeknight Lifestyle Show Will Debut September 21 at 7 p.m.

LOS ANGELES (Sept. 9, 2020) – KTLA-TV, the Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc., television station serving the Los Angeles area and the most watched local news broadcaster in Southern California, today announced the launch of a fresh new weeknight lifestyle show, “LA Unscripted.”  Created and produced by KTLA-TV’s Vice President of News, Jason Ball, and Executive Producer, Kimberly Cornell, LA Unscripted is a high energy, half-hour  show that uncovers the city’s hidden hot spots, trendsetting new cuisine, staycation travel tips, Insta-worthy life-hacks, and style-smart secrets.  “LA Unscripted” begins airing on Monday, September 21, at 7 p.m.

“LA Unscripted will deliver engaging content across a wide array of topics that audiences can apply to their day-to-day lives while featuring KTLA’s recognized talent,” said Mr. Ball.

Hosted by KTLA’s Dayna Devon, Megan Telles, and Liberté Chan, LA Unscripted will help viewers and online users discover LA in a whole new way, focusing on the people, places, and personalities that make the City and Southern California the most unique, diverse, and vibrant place in the world.

In addition to the weeknight broadcast, LA Unscripted will be available on multiple platforms including KTLA.com and the KTLA 5 News app, engaging viewers and users with an innovative format and style rarely seen on local television or emerging social and digital streams.
