Nexstar Inc. To Host Exclusive Live Multi-Market Virtual Town Hall with Indiana Congressional Delegation on Wednesday, March 10 at 7 P.M. ET
INDIANAPOLIS, IN and IRVING, TX (March 4, 2021) – Nexstar Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Nexstar Media Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: NXST), announced today that its television stations serving central Indiana will host an exclusive live virtual Town Hall meeting, “IN Focus: Path out of the Pandemic,” on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. ET. The town hall will feature members of the Indiana delegation to the United States Congress, including U.S. Senator Mike Braun (R-IN), U.S. Representative Jim Baird (R-4), U.S. Representative Jim Banks (R-3), U.S. Representative Larry Bucshon (R-8), U.S. Representative Andre Carson (D-7), U.S. Representative Trey Hollingsworth (R-9), U.S. Representative Greg Pence (R-6), U.S. Representative Victoria Spartz (R-5), and U.S. Representative Jackie Walorski (R-2). Due to restrictions on large gatherings, all the guests will remotely join the broadcast and livestream.
The town hall will be hosted by FOX59 anchors Dan Spehler and Beairshelle Edmé, and CBS4 anchor Bob Donaldson and will cover a range of topics related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the various vaccines now available and their distribution, and the state’s economic recovery. Questions will be posed to the Indiana Congressional Delegation about what they plan to do over the next few months to help Hoosiers recover. The questions will come from the journalists and from viewers, who can submit their questions at fox59.com/questions and cbs4indy.com/questions.
The virtual Town Hall will be hosted from the studios of WXIN-TV FOX59 (FOX) and WTTV-TV CBS4 (CBS) in Indianapolis, IN. The live broadcast will be simulcast on WANE-TV (CBS) in Fort Wayne, IN and on WBND-LD ABC57 (ABC) in South Bend, IN. The live stream will be shared by WTWO-TV in Terre Haute and WEHT-TV in Evansville, IN. The television broadcast will take place from 7p.m. to 8 p.m. ET and the live stream will continue until 8:30 p.m. ET.
