Candidates Will Face Off October 2 at the Studios of WXIN-TV in Indianapolis

Debate Will be Live-Streamed and Available to Every Indiana Voter

Indianapolis, IN (Sept. 23, 2024) – Nexstar Media Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: NXST) today announced that its television stations serving Indiana will host an exclusive live multi-market telecast of a debate featuring the candidates vying for the position of Governor. This one-hour debate will take place on October 2 at 7 p.m. from the WXIN-TV/WTTV-TV studios in Indianapolis and will be broadcast live across the state. The leading candidates for Indiana Governor have agreed to participate: Mike Braun (R-Ind.) and Jennifer McCormick (D-Ind.)

The debate will originate from WXIN-TV studios in Indianapolis and air across six Nexstar owned or operated television stations and digital platforms serving the state, including sister station WTTV-TV, also in Indianapolis, and WANE-TV in Fort Wayne, WTWO-TV in Terre Haute, and WEHT-TV in Evansville.  The debate will also live stream on Chicago’s WGNtv.com. WBND-TV in South Bend and WDRB-TV in Louisville will simulcast the live event.

This pivotal event will provide Hoosiers with an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates as they discuss their visions for Indiana’s future. Voters are encouraged to tune in and engage with the issues that matter most to their communities.
