FORT WORTH, IRVING and DALLAS, Texas (December 27, 2018) – Nexstar Media Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: NXST), announced today that it is co-hosting in partnership with NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth (KXAS-TV) Lone Star NYE Live on Monday, December 31, 2018 from 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. CST. For the second consecutive year, NBC 5 has teamed up with stations owned by Nexstar Media Group, Mission Broadcasting, Inc., Vaughan Media LLC and Codillera Communications across 21 markets throughout Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri, reaching nearly eight million U.S. households to ring in 2019 with the hour-long special. In addition, local viewers may access a live-stream of the Dallas New Year’s Eve programming special on their participating local station’s website. Lone Star NYE Live will feature musical performances from former contestants of NBC’s Hit Show The Voice, a Central Time Zone countdown and the Reunion Tower Over the Top NYE 2018 fireworks spectacular, presented by Southwest Airlines® and Hunt Realty.
The biggest New Year’s Eve celebration in Dallas Fort Worth will broadcast from Texas Live!, the new entertainment and dining complex in Arlington beginning at 11:30 p.m. CST. There, former NFL pro-football player and news anchor D.J. Williams of KARK-TV in Little Rock will join award-winning NBC 5 news anchors Kristin Dickerson and Kris Gutierrez to host Lone Star NYE Live and ring-in the New Year alongside hundreds of partygoers. Viewers and VIP party guests will celebrate the night away with music from fan-favorite former contestants of The Voice including, Austin Allsup and Sundance Head who will be performing on location at Texas Live!. In addition, meteorologist David Yeomans of KXAN-TV in Austin, will check-in with the team regularly with live reporting from a second location at Reunion Tower where crews will be putting the finishing touches on the fireworks show. NBC 5, Nexstar Media Group and ALT 103.7 are the official media partners of the Reunion Tower Over the Top NYE 2018 fireworks spectacular, presented by Southwest Airlines® and will broadcast the event live beginning at midnight CST as the Dallas city skyline lights up with more than 4,000 pyrotechnic special effects ignited from various levels of Reunion Tower.

Note: Only authorized guests of Reunion Tower, Hyatt Regency Dallas and credentialed media will be permitted to access the media viewing area via Reunion Boulevard and Sports Street. Due to safety requirements the Reunion Tower lawn will be closed to the public.
