Candidates Will Face Off October 8, 2024, at 7 PM ET
Grand Rapids, MI (Sept. 10, 2024) – Nexstar Media Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: NXST), today announced that its television stations serving the state of Michigan will host an exclusive multi-market live telecast of a debate between U.S. Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D) and former U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers (R), the top two candidates for U.S. Senator from Michigan. The hour-long debate will take place Oct. 8th at 7:00 p.m. ET, and will be telecast throughout Michigan and simulcast across the country on Nexstar’s national cable news network, NewsNation.
The debate will originate from the WOOD TV8 studios in Grand Rapids and will air exclusively on WOOD TV8, Nexstar’s sister station WLNS-TV, in Lansing, and on a variety of Michigan television partners and digital platforms serving the state as listed below.
