KAMR, an NBC affiliate, was acquired in late 2003 as part of Nexstar’s acquisition of Quorum Broadcasting. KAMR benefits from various service agreements with Mission Broadcasting stations KCIT and KCPN, also located in Amarillo. KAMR’s syndicated programming includes Entertainment Tonight, The Dr. Oz Show and Rachael Ray. In addition to daily local newscasts KAMR produces and airs Studio 4 which is a local lifestyle show. KAMR continues to develop strategic marketing partnerships with local, regional and national advertisers as a result of our extensive coverage in West Texas.
