KPLR 11 celebrated their 60thAnniversary in April 2019. The station is a unique CW Network affiliate in that it produces 17 news hours/week. The CW time period slides to Eastern Time, 8-10PM, allowing News 11 at 7 to be a market stand-alone news product in the time period.

The first station in St. Louis to broadcast a 4PM newscast, we are competitive with KMOV and at times beat KSDK. 4P anchor: Mike Colombo. Weather with John Fuller and Sports with Rich Gould. News 11 at 4 was the first station to offer PM Drive traffic. Talent: Molly Rose. News 11 at 7 is Your Prime-Time News Source every night of the week. The only one-hour early prime newscast in town. Anchors: Andy Banker, John Fuller, and Rich Gould. KPLR 11’s newscasts benefit from the FOX 2 resources, with shared reporters, helicopters, news vehicles and gear. KPLR 11 shares the Community Affairs unit with KTVI working with over 45 charities and foundations.
This past year, with resources like SkyFOX, and Storm Runner, News 11 at 4 and 7 broke major local news stories. News franchises: News 11 continues producing the Emmy Award Winning “Presidential Libraries” series.
