KTAB
Station Profile
Nexstar purchased KTAB, a CBS affiliate, in August 1999. At acquisition, Nexstar appointed a new General Manager with in-market experience, and made substantial operating improvements. The management team and staff are committed to localism and is a leader in high school sports and severe weather coverage. KTAB syndicated programming includes Oprah, Judge Judy and Wheel of Fortune. During 2003 and 2004, KTAB has entered into various service agreements with Mission Broadcasting station KRBC, which have greatly improved the operating efficiencies of both stations. In addition, our Abilene facility provides master control functions for Nexstar and Mission stations in San Angelo.
