WBTW
Station Profile
WBTW has been serving South and North Carolina since 1954 as a CBS Affiliate. As the first station in the market it also provided ABC and NBC programming for some time. Historically WBTW has been one of the most dominant stations in the country, and was the only station serving this region for almost 25 years. In 2007 WBTW moved its primary studios from Florence, SC to Myrtle Beach, SC. Our “Coverage You Can Count On” approach puts our news team in the middle of the communities that depend on us for local news and events as well as weather coverage along the Grand Strand, Pee Dee and North Carolina. WBTW not only produces over 31 hours of local news per week on channel 13, but also provides newscasts for the local Fox affiliate and boasts the area’s most viewed website among broadcast stations.
