On July 15, 2018, Nexstar Broadcasting Inc. entered into an agreement to purchase the assets of WHDF, the CW affiliate, in Huntsville, Alabama from Lockwood Broadcast Group. Nexstar and Lockwood also have entered into a Time Brokerage Agreement pursuant to which Nexstar will provide programming and other services to WHDF during the pendency of the FCC application process. Throughout its history, WHDF has always held a strong commitment to the community it serves. Today, that commitment is stronger than ever, including servicing viewers with the best possible programming. In addition to The CW network, syndicated programming includes Judge Judy, The King of Queens, and The Andy Griffith Show.
