Since its first day on the air, April 29, 1956, WSPA-TV has delivered continuous broadcast service to the Upstate of South Carolina and Western North Carolina.  WSPA 7News provides more than 10 hours of locally produced news, weather, sports, entertainment programs daily.  In addition, our children’s programming, specials, educational and awareness program enrich the lives of families in the “Upstate” and WNC, and build local business through this most powerful medium.  Today, 7 News—Carolina’s Family has reinvented itself to serve families through these same reliable services, but also through meaningful extensions of the brand.  Education, Environmental Initiatives, Community Service and Innovative Business Partnerships are all valuable parts of the Carolina’s Family vision.
