WTVO boasts a rich heritage as the first television station to serve the Rockford market when it signed on in 1953. WTVO continues to serve the Stateline with top notch local news coverage. WTVO provides morning news from 5-7 am and evening news at 5, 6 and 10 pm. As the market’s ABC affiliate, WTVO carries prime time hit shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Modern Family, and Dancing with the Stars. The station’s syndicated line-up includes Regis and Kelly, Dr. Phil, Judge Judy and Entertainment Tonight. WTVO remains committed to the communities it serves. The station provides on-air support to numerous charitable causes throughout the year including fund-raising telethons and a live telecast of Rockford’s annual Fourth of July Fireworks display.
