WFLA and WREG Win NewscastStudio Awards

NewscastStudio announced the winners of its annual Broadcast Production Awards competition with WFLA-TV in Tampa, FL (DMA #13) and WREG-TV in Memphis, TN (DMA #51) winning top awards, beating out over 200 entries in this year’s competition.

WFLA won the 2020 Best Use of Technology award from the Broadcast Production Awards, in the Local News category. WFLA was also an honorable mention in the Set Design category.

WREG has won Best 2020 Set Design from the Broadcast Production Awards, in the Local News category.

NewscastStudio showcases those working behind the camera in broadcast and streaming media production across a variety of formats, ranging from sports and news programming to corporate video production and entertainment. Awards honor both creative and technical achievements including motion design, branding, augmented reality, scenic design, lighting design and music composition.
